Wow, we had a great safari! Our guide Frank was very experienced and we felt very safe. He knew exactly the right places and we saw a lot of animals. We experienced the safari as truly private. He also told us a lot about the animals and culture in Tanzania. He helped us with everything and no question was too crazy. You could tell that he has passion for his work and respect for the animals and nature. He has a lot of knowledge about the different national parks and can make a tailor-made plan for you with all your wishes. We definitely recommend the safari at lulu and we will definitely go on safari at lulu again.

We just came home from two weeks spent in Tanzania, (June 2025). We could not have had a more knowledgeable, experienced, and enjoyable guide than we had in Frank. He was simply amazing. We were advised to be honest with our guide and let him know what kind of safari we wanted, so I took them at their word. We told Frank what we wanted to see and learn, and he delivered. No matter how many times we asked him to teach us about the animals and plants we saw, he always had something new to tell us. No matter how many times I asked to stop and take a picture, he not only stopped, but he continually repositioned the jeep so that I would get the best angle and lighting.

Each and every day, Frank showed up ready to WOW us. In the end, we saw all of the big 5, and most of them more than once. I can’t even list all of the animals he found for us, and most of them were close enough to touch. When he heard over the radio that a specific animal was nearby, he raced to get us as close as possible. After only a few short days, we were able to spot many of the animals from the open roof ourselves, and Frank eagerly got us as close as possible to either take photos or just watch nature do what it does.

Frank is an excellent guide with years of experience. When we stopped alongside the other jeeps to exchange information, it was obvious that Frank is well respected among the other guides. He always knew when and where to spot the animals, and he never stopped looking.

Besides being courteous and respectful, Frank has a wonderful sense of humor and an amazing laugh. He loves sharing things about his culture, and he is just as interested in learning about yours. I strongly recommend using Frank as your safari guide!

Our tour guide Frank was with us every day to assist with luggage, the schedule, and of course driving us every where while sharing amazing stories. Frank made the trip experience very smooth and also very lively! We had tons of fun and learned so much from his experience in the towns and the nature parks. The guides communicate as a team over the radio to share where the animals are located in parks so that we were able to see as many of all the beauty in real life during the Game Drives.

Frank was also well prepared to suggest local experiences such as coffee plantation where we had such an amazing time with the locals.

Frank is really a one of a kind guide who will go the extra mile for you. Kind and caring, knows much about wild life, teaches you the best Swahili words and helps you to spot the rarest animals (amongst others the big five). If I ever come back to Tanzania, it will definitely be with Frank (and probably to climb kilimanjaro together).
