About Us
Tanzanian-owned. Guide-led. Quietly luxurious.
Founded in Arusha by a lifelong Tanzanian guide, Lulu exists to share our home the way we know it.
Our Story
Safari experiences in Tanzania
Lulu African Safaris is a Tanzanian-owned tour operator based in Arusha, the gateway to the Northern Circuit. We specialize in private African safaris and Mount Kilimanjaro climbs.
Tanzania is the finest destination in Africa for a wildlife safari — we have the advantage of the Serengeti National Park, the impressive Ngorongoro Crater, Zanzibar, and other exceptional National Parks all within reach of a single itinerary.

The Founder
Frank — a decade on the plains

Founder Frank has been a Safari Guide in Tanzania for over 10 years, working across the country's national parks and East Africa's finest wildlife reserves.
He built Lulu to offer travellers the safari he would want his own family to have — private, patient, and led by guides who read the bush instead of ticking a route sheet.
"The best safari isn't the fastest. It's the one where you notice the small things."
Conservation
A quiet commitment to the wild
Eco-tourism is central to how we operate. We view wildlife without intruding on the animals, keep vehicle numbers small at every sighting, and work with lodges and camps that reinvest into the parks and the surrounding Maasai and local communities.
We also partner on hotel accommodation and holiday villa/rental services across Tanzania and East Africa, so travellers can build seamless journeys from the bush to the beach.
The Fleet
Our vehicles

Our safari fleet is built around 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers. Each vehicle carries a full charging system for cameras and phones, large side windows for game viewing and photography, and a pop-up roof that offers shade on game drives — the difference between a good day and a great one in the Serengeti sun.
Our Team
Available whenever you need us
The Lulu team is small, tight-knit, and available around the clock to assist our guests — from the first enquiry through to the moment your flight home takes off. Every guide is Tanzanian, licensed, and trained in first aid and wildlife interpretation.
