Why a Private Land Cruiser Changes Everything

A safari lives or dies by the vehicle. Here's why we insist on private 4×4 Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs, and never a minibus.

Most first-time safari-goers underestimate how much of the experience happens inside the vehicle. You'll spend 6–8 hours a day in it. It's your hide, your grandstand, your dining room and your ride home.

Private, not shared

Every Lulu safari is a private vehicle. You're never sharing with strangers. That means when you find a leopard in a sausage tree, you stay as long as you want. When you want to skip the busy hippo pool for a quiet acacia grove, we go.

Pop-up roof, charging ports, cold drinks

Our Land Cruisers are custom-fitted: high pop-up roof for 360° game viewing, side windows that open fully for photographers, USB charging in every seat, a cold-drinks fridge, reference books, binoculars and a spare pair of prescription-friendly binos for guests who forgot theirs.
